About Paul Jensen
Paul is all about connecting with people – as a songwriter, recording artist or live performer. He combines the power of storytelling with infectious melodies, exploring timely themes and emotions. His music has been compared to some of his favorite artists from Jason Isbell and Drew Holcomb to Tom Petty to Jackson Browne.
Paul’s long and winding songwriting road has taken him from California to Cuba, where he and NYC avant-garde dance troupe Ballet D'Angelo performed his compositions at the International Ballet Festival in Havana. Today, Paul is known for his energetic, engaging live shows, and is the founder and host of the Sound Shore Songwriter Series in Rye, NY, a new performance series featuring promising, local singer/songwriters.

Paul has been a headliner at NYC venues including the Cutting Room, The Bitter End and Arlene’s Grocery, and his music has been featured on local and college radio stations from WPKN (Bridgeport, CT) to WUNH (Keene, NH). You can catch him performing solo acoustic or with his band in and around the greater NYC area.
In his spare time, Paul is a musician volunteer for Nashville-based Musicians on Call, which brings the healing power of music to patients in hospitals across the country.
